I need to first restate that I have a scrapbooking problem. I know this is pretty well-known but I just had to make that confession again because I'm probably gong to make a ridiculous purchase today because of a ridiculous sale I encountered. More on that later.
I don't know how many of you saw the Golden Globes last night but I was enthralled. I get embarrassingly sucked into watching the stars all done up and such. I was a tad uncomfortable watching the opening monologue, as I believe everyone was, but the bit Gervais did about The Tourist rang slightly true. Start at 1:24.
My Take
Regardless of the fact that the film may not win any awards, it was still more than worth the $9 to me to see 103 minutes of Angelina and Johnny. I'm not even a big Angelina fan. But, the dress, the jewelry etc are just great to take in. C enjoyed this movie for different reasons. There is a lot of action and not any gore. It just kept you on your toes. So, again, I recommend.
PS. C and I did continue the tradition yesterday and saw another Sunday movie. That will be coming up. For now, off to the treadmill. Thank you, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. for a million reasons but also for giving me a day off. Love to you always.
